For a local French neighbourhood restaurant in London, you can't go more authentic than Gastro. This place is packed with locals who like the décor that reminds you of a bistro anywhere in France. The food is unreconstructed bistro food which varies in quality. But never mind, you go here for the fun of the place rather than the excellence of the moules, steak frites, fromages and good pâtisserie. And you’ll enjoy yourselves, even when the service wobbles.
