Gather Wine Bar Restaurant Review: Nestled in a historic structure in The Village of Arroyo Grande, Gather Wine Bar offers a place to meet for a quiet tête-à-tête in the bar area, or to hold an office party on the spacious outdoor patio. The wine list is constantly changing, but always offers a well-thought-out range of Central Coast labels, typically small lot producers. There are also a couple local beers on tap, as well as hard cider and house-made sangría. Gather has added a cheese section to the shop, and we’re happy to tuck into a turkey, mango and Stilton grilled cheese sandwich or mac ‘n’ cheese with chorizo. Fresh soups such as minestrone or leek and onion are usually available as well, or indulge in a plate of the bacon-wrapped dates. For your sweet tooth, the chocolate brownie with salted caramel sauce drizzled on top is hard to beat. |
