The lightly cured salmon carpaccio is a good start at this highly authentic Italian restaurant. Of the seven pizzas, the one with mushrooms, mozzarella, tomato sauce and truffle oil is the most compelling. Rosemary roasted chicken and braised veal shank with soft polenta are on the menu, but it is the pastas-rich, cheesy, comfortingly gooey-that satisfy your soul. The house-made desserts include a stellar tiramisu.
