| This casual stand serves up a delicacy relatively new to Sacramento: Korean barbecue. To make it more accessible, it’s presented in a better-known and well-loved Mexican format. The signature Korean short rib taco is spicy, sweet and loaded with flavor, the succulent meat nicely offset with a tangy, crunchy cabbage slaw. Pork, chicken and tofu versions are also available, and can be wrapped up in burritos or loaded into bowls. A trio of tacos with a soda is a filling midday meal, all for less than $10. Seating is available on the sidewalk or bamboo-flanked patio; if it’s too crowded or the weather is uncooperative, grab a meal to go. Part of the Park Downtown restaurant/nightclub complex, Gogi’s is a good choice for casual, inexpensive take-out that’s a world apart from traditional fast food. |
