THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Golden Chopstick Restaurant Review

: The interior might not be notable (it’s really just a half-hearted alternative to Golden Chopsticks’ busy take-out business), but the food at this sit-down, family-run Chinese eatery makes the place worth a visit. Freshness and careful preparation are the hallmarks, as well as a light hand with sauces to let ingredients shine. Even take-out orders are prepared so that the sauce and main dish are separated to avoid saturation. Favorites include crab cheese puffs delicately fried and stuffed with sweet crab meat and cream cheese. Rich, savory green onion pancakes are golden and flaky. Barbecue pork fried rice with pineapple can be somewhat dry, but still packs enough flavor and texture to make it forgivable. Prawns are plump and sweet and especially distinguished in lighter combinations, such as the prawns mixed with vegetables. Lemon chicken remains moist despite its deep-fried treatment. Specialties include Hong Kong-style milk tea, as well as a selection of fresh fruit juices.
