Golden Horse Restaurant Restaurant Review: The vast menu at this longstanding Chinatown restaurant offers all the conventional choices, but also some fascinating surprises --- in huge portions. The best dishes are in the seafood category, including the sweet-and-sour whole fish, salt and pepper fried squid and, for the less timid, chewy jellyfish served with peppery sliced pork legs. Pickled chicken feet, for those who enjoy their gelatinous charms, are some of the best in town. Be sure to try the succulent fried chicken stuffed with sweet rice. There's a limited beer and wine list; Chinese beer is probably the optimal choice. |
