| Gordon Biersch made a name for itself with its brand of fun, quality brewpubs that are located throughout the country. The Columbus outpost is no different, offering good food and beer within a block of Nationwide Arena, home to the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets and the Arena Football League's Columbus Destroyers. The beer is, naturally, a big draw; premium handcrafted German lagers are brewed on the premises. The dinner menu includes more than the standard pub fare. In addition to pizzas, burgers and sandwiches, you'll find upscale offerings like seared tuna, grilled Chilean sea bass, Creole chicken and flame-grilled steak. Try a side of Gorgonzola potato wedges, but leave room for warm apple bread pudding with pecans, vanilla ice cream and whiskey sauce. |
