| Named after the upscale shopping district in Dublin’s Temple Bar area, Grafton Street offers a lively late night scene. There is a good selection of beers on tap, a fairly extensive wine menu with vintages from California, Austria, France, Spain and Italy, and a fun listing of specialty cocktails, like the bourbon stiletto made with Bulleit bourbon, amaretto and lemon. Diners may share goat cheese and cheddar fondue and Island Creek oysters while supping on the restaurant’s classic ale-battered fish ‘n’ chips. Retro dishes include chicken, sausage and shellfish paella, grilled lamb shish kebab and molasses barbecue grilled pork belly. The desserts here shine, especially the white chocolate crème brûlée. |
