Green Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant Restaurant Review: The long lines and cramped space through which this Vietnamese star rose have given way to an expanded spot without missing a beat in the freshness and quality that originally made it famous. Start with the Vietnamese pancake topped with generous portions of shrimp and pork (easily shared among four people), and an order of plump spring rolls with crunchy fried wontons tucked into the center. Dishes include catfish cooked in a clay pot, steaming bowls of anise-scented pho with beef, sea bass with lemon grass, and udon noodles with shrimp and crab. For $25.95, two persons may share seven courses of beef. Dessert features refreshing green tea ice cream. Friendly, helpful service is a bonus. Go early if you don’t want to wait in line. Also located at 2800 First Ave., Belltown, 206-448-3318.
