Green Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant Restaurant Review: Enjoy a warm cup of complimentary green tea as you settle into the dining room done with bamboo-covered walls and Asian accents. Upstairs, a larger room with incongruous wagon wheel-style furniture is less charming, but considerably quieter. Start with the Vietnamese pancake topped with generous portions of shrimp and pork (easily shared among four people) and an order of plump spring rolls with crunchy fried wontons tucked into the center. Favorites include catfish cooked in a clay pot, steaming bowls of anise-scented pho with beef, sea bass with lemon grass, and udon noodles with shrimp and crab. For $25.95, two people can share seven courses of beef. Dessert features green tea ice cream. The friendly, helpful service is a bonus. Go early if you don’t want to wait in line. Also located at 2800 1st Ave., Belltown, 206-448-3318.
