Greencork Restaurant Review: Wine dispensers --- like soda fountains but with various red and white wines --- line the walls at Greencork, a cozy Cooper-Young bar with a fireplace, couches and sturdy wooden tables. Patrons can put any amount of money on a pre-paid card; insert that card into a machine; select a two-, four- or six-ounce pour; and have their glass filled without requiring assistance from a server. But waitstaff is on hand to take orders for mixed drinks or beer. There is a small seasonal menu where one might find beef tenderloin or butter-poached lobster, depending on the time of year. Greencork also offers flights of fine cheeses to pair with wines. Greencork’s picnic basket --- a selection of premium meats, cheeses, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh bread and house-made condiments --- is perfect for sharing with a friend or a date. For dessert, try the fried pound cake with butter pecan ice cream.
