The Grocer on Warwick is what you'd expect to find in the heart of the film and media business area, and it does a remarkably good job. The deli at the front produces great breads and ready meals, while the dark café at the back turns out some seriously tasty Asian dishes. The menu is arranged by preparation or cooking style: from raw (like cashew nut nori roll with avocado and tamari at £5 a dish) through salads, which are imaginative like wakame seaweed with grilled prawn and soy (£4), tempura, wok, tandoori and more. Prices per dish range from £4 to £9, so you can get in a large variety of tastes and textures. The open-all-day policy fits in perfectly with the tapas-style menu.
