Hanna Modern Vietnamese Bistro Restaurant Review

: Hanna Modern Vietnamese Bistro is a sleek, Zen-inspired sanctuary for those who don’t want to leave Los Gatos when they yearn for Vietnamese cuisine, albeit with a spicy twist. Owner and executive chef Hanna Pham’s culinary artistry melds the aromatic intensity of Singaporean and Chinese cuisines with the freshness of California. Beware that even the spring rolls have extra zest built in. Go for the duck spring rolls if you’re really hungry, or mix it up with crab and avocado spring rolls, accented with mint and mango. Vietnamese tacos are truly flavorful. Chicken satay are redolent with Singaporean spices, and slow-roasted pork baby-back ribs glisten with their honey and spice glaze. Don’t miss the barbecued lemongrass lamb chops if you want a satisfying treat. Bowls of pho and won ton soup are laden with noodles and savory broth. Gluten-free options are available. Beer, wine, saké and distinctive teas round out the amply ambitious menu.
