Happy Dog Restaurant Review

: With a menu focused on hot dogs and the many things you can put on them, this Gordon Square Arts District restaurant offers no-muss, no-fuss food. There are four items to choose from: a hot dog, a vegan sausage, fries and tots. (On Thursdays, burgers are offered.) However, with an array of house-made toppings available --- 50 to be exact, including everything from SpaghettiOs and Greek feta to habanero-pickled red onions and Jamaican jerk mustard mojo --- the combinations multiply. The hot dogs themselves weigh in at a quarter pound; the veggie "sausage" is actually a vegan Italian sausage. Both come on an Orlando bun. Happy Dog is well known for its live music and beer list, which features over 75 brews, taking in more than 20 on tap. A small wine list is available and bottles of root beer, cream soda, orange and grape pop can be had, too.
