Hard Rock Cafe Restaurant Review: Ever crave a juicy burger while perusing a museum? You can get that and more at the New York City outpost of the Hard Rock Café, which is the de rigueur destination for historical rock 'n' roll memorabilia. Rock aficionados (and those who love them) gravitate to the Times Square location for its Louvre-like collection of items culled from legends like The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Madonna and Nirvana. Oh yeah, there's food too. The standard American fare---tall burgers, mountains of nachos, big salads, and chicken breast-topped mac 'n' cheese---is largely forgettable. But then again, diners rarely turn up here looking to only satiate their taste buds. |
