Harry's Bar & Burger Restaurant Review

: Harry's Bar & Burger, a creation from Rhode Island restaurateur John Elkhay, aims squarely at the proletariat --- or at least budget-strapped scions attending nearby Brown University. Harry's menu is endearingly simple --- that is, as long as you like hamburgers or hot dogs. Burgers come ten different ways; pastrami and pulled pork are more inventive toppings. Oddly on one visit, the waitress didn't ask how the bacon cheeseburgers should be cooked, so they arrived medium. The basic burger (two actually, since they are served as paired "sliders") will set you back just $3.99. That's about right for the serving size; sides (fries and onion strings) are extra. Buffalo chicken and pulled pork sandwiches are among a handful of other menu options, best washed down with a bottle of craft beer or one of Harry's boozy ice cream drinks.
