A hidden gem, this ice cream store is well worth a treasure hunt because it features the famous Lappert’s ice cream, a Hawaiian original. The flavors are exotic, many featuring hot-weather fruits and tropical flavors: passion fruit, coconut pineapple and Kona coffee to name a few. Flavors rotate, but may include banana caramel chocolate chip and Café Caramelo. You’ll also find Dole’s Dole Whip, a nondairy and low-fat soft freeze in one of four flavors. Note that HS also puts forth more traditional flavors.
