Heaven on Seven Restaurant Review

: This jovial place was once a coffee shop that catered to the people in the building. Now, it’s a full-blown, heat-tinged hot-spot with long lines for a lunch table. “What are these people waiting for?” one might ask. Just some of the best Cajun and Creole food in the city --- that's what. The Louisiana soft shell crab po’ boy is a must-eat, as are the black-eyed peas with andouille sausage and jambalaya. We also recommend the Cajun fried shrimp salad topped with honey jalapeño dressing. Be sure to ask for one of the jalapeño-zapped corn muffins on the side. And if you come in the morning? The tasso ham omelet is hard to beat. Dinner is served on the third Friday of every month.
