| For over 40 years, local landmark Henry's Hi-Life has been a favorite barbecue haunt for South Bay residents. Located in an old roadhouse, its walls covered with memorabilia, the crowd is an eclectic mix of college students, blue-collar workers, and Silicon Valley families. The menu features first-rate baby-back ribs, well-charred steaks, and a couple of chicken and fish dishes. All the entrées come with salad and a baked potato (a 16-ounce wonder), but there are no desserts. The service is unusual: upon entering, you take a number in the bar area and place your order. You are seated when your table is ready, and your salad will be waiting. |
