In spite of fast food competition, Hob Nob has endured since 1944 because of its high-quality food and some of the best service in the city, provided by cheerful, can-do waitresses from the old school. If you want your poached eggs medium-runny, hon, then that's just how you'll get them. If it's old-fashioned, good and traditionally American, Hob Nob serves it (buttermilk pancakes, corned beef hash, pot roast and turkey croquettes), in generous quantities and at a fair price. You’ll find a dedicated local following inside and freshly baked treats like cinnamon rolls and muffins from the bakery.
