Hockeytown Cafe Restaurant Review: This downtown Detroit restaurant with a gigantic puck on its roof doubles as a shrine to the Detroit Red Wings. From uniforms, photos and equipment to trivia games, this place is wall-to-wall memorabilia. The menu includes Cajun shrimp pasta, barbecue baby-back ribs and a corned beef Reuben as well as the Hockeytown Burger --- a half-pound of beef, topped with a choice of American, cheddar, Swiss or provolone cheese. For a different burger taste, try the Michigan Cherry Burger --- the house patty topped with Traverse City cherries and Boursin cheese. Also, score Red Wings, fried wings tossed with a mild or hot sauce and served with blue cheese dressing. The 40 bottled beers as well as a selection of hard ciders and root beers are available to toast the winning team. Hockeytown Cafe's third floor, known as The Roof, offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas along with panoramic views of the Foxtown area including Comerica Park.
