Holman's Restaurant Restaurant Review: There's nothing fancy about this neighborhood bar with decent food, except it is very friendly and popular. The stiff drinks, good beer selection, extensive menu, late-night hours, and affordable prices appeal to just about everyone (except minors). Sink into one of the comfortable booths and peruse the well-worn menu offering standard American diner fare such as omelets, burgers, pork sliders and Gorgonzola fries. It's dark inside, which appeals sometimes, but when the weather's warm and sunny, grab a spot on the pleasant outdoor patio. You might even join the whiskey club: sample 26 whiskeys and your name goes on the wall. Night owls appreciate the 24-hour weekend hours --- this is the place to go after the bars close on the weekend. Or simply stick around after a wild Saturday night for the mix-it-yourself Bloody Mary bar on Sunday morning. |
