THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hooters Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Describing itself as delightfully tacky, yet unrefined, this chain doesn’t seem to care about the controversy as to whether or not women are exploited as sex objects. They even bend over backwards to promote family values by welcoming children with a menu of their own. Political correctness aside, the casual, Florida beach theme of Hooters draws the business crowd, especially for those who enjoy reasonably priced seafood and shellfish---and the ever-present sports TVs. Much to our surprise, the menu does, in fact, lean heavily towards seafood, so ordering oysters either on the half-shell, roasted, ala Rockefeller, or as a shooter cocktail is not painful for us. Steamed clams, clam chowder, crab legs and buffalo shrimp are also available, but if you’re not inspired to eat from the sea, then burgers, wings, chili and Caesar salads are there for the asking.
