Craving Central Texas-style barbecue? Find it in downtown L.A. at the Grand Central Market. Snag a seat at one of the picnic tables on the tree-shaded patio. On offer are meats from beef brisket to pulled pork and sides like coleslaw, cornbread and baked beans. A couple salads and sandwiches are available, for good measure. Desserts, which rotate as well, might include banana pudding. A dozen beers are available on tap.
