| This neighborhood bakery made its mark with artisan goodies ranging from baguettes to ciabatta bread to seasonal sweet potato pies, but the café side of things has proven just as popular. The hot and hearty San Francisco grinder with roast beef, turkey and provolone is always tempting; the veggie delight with marinated artichoke hearts and pesto doesn’t disappoint either. Daily specials vary from a muffaletta to roasted tomato soup, and the dinner menu, though limited, might include everything from prime rib to pasta. For Saturday breakfast, check out the quiche selection or tuck into Big D’s Benedict served on a flaky croissant. Beer and wine are available. |
