Hush-Harbor Artisan Bakery & Cafe Restaurant Review

: This artisan bakery is best known for its spot-on crusty baguettes, flaky croissants and chewy ciabatta rolls, but the café menu has gained a popular following as well. (Keep in mind that the bakery is the primary business, so sometimes food service can be a tad slow.) The casual offerings include hearty salads such as raspberry-chipotle chicken and Cobb, and it’s obviously hard to go wrong with any of the sandwiches thanks to the oven-fresh bread. Favorites include the veggie delight, French dip and the Cuban, which started as one of the daily specials and quickly found a spot on the regular menu. Dinner dishes, though limited, might include everything from prime rib to pasta, and for Saturday breakfast, check out the quiche selection or tuck into Big D’s Benedict served on a croissant. Beer and wine are available, and if you’re lucky, dessert choices will include a big slice of flaky-crusted pie.
