THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Il Bacio Restaurant Review:

This modest but inviting strip-mall restaurant was born as a bakery, but when the restaurant side proved more successful, chef Rino Baglio and his wife, Patsy, took the cue. A couple of expansions later, the seating capacity is up to 130 and we wonder whether Baglio still even has time to make wedding cakes on the side. Though the waiters sport cummerbunds and tux shirts, the customers are more often clad in jeans or chinos that suit the casual Italian countryside motif just fine. Whether you find yourself seated under the faux grape arbor or across from the bucolic murals, you are likely to be in a packed room. The locals flock to what is easily Redmond’s best Italian restaurant for spaghetti in a rich, authentic Bolognese sauce; outstanding pasta e fagioli; toothsome homemade gnocchi in another superb tomato sauce; or fettuccine Olivera, tossed with tomatoes, basil, chicken and shrimp. Desserts are delicious, but frankly, we almost never have room.
