This tiny Rockville eatery offers classic rustic Italian cooking, but using a favorite of sausages and peppers as a benchmark, we find this sauté completely bland and undistinguished. It needs a few shakes of crushed red pepper to perk it up. That goes, too, for the cold antipasto platter to start. So perhaps turn your attention to the fried calamari or zuppa di mussels to kick off a meal, then follow it with a pasta or pizza. Dessert options include homemade tiramisu.
