While the menu includes over 700 rotating items, we visit Ingrid’s especially for its wiener schnitzel, toasted breakfast brötchen, authentic warm German potato salad, and refreshing sauerkraut. Daily lunch specials usually feature Oklahoma comfort food, but we suggest sampling the Oklahoma-made bratwurst platter for dinner or trying a bakery specialty for a satisfying breakfast---our favorite is the apple french toast. Many of the items in the wide-ranging deli counter, including meats, cheeses, soups and salads, are available for bulk purchase. Regulars return each Saturday for Ingrid’s breakfast buffet and to dance to old-time favorites performed by local crooners. There’s also an adjacent beer and wine bar to appeal to a different kind of clientele who is looking to relax with a variety of local and European draft beers. Whatever brings you to Ingrid’s, everyone is ultimately drawn to the bakery counter featuring a large assortment of tempting baked goods, including nussecken, streusel, danishes, whole cakes and loaves of freshly-baked bread.
