THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Inn LW12 Restaurant Review:

What happens when you mix oft-overlooked Canadian cuisine with the Meatpacking District and stir it up with heavy menu consultation from one of the world’s most acclaimed French chefs? Enter The Inn LW12, or The Inn at Little W. 12th, a Canadian-by-way-of-Manhattan gastropub. The low-ceilinged space is intimately crammed with a dark wood bar and a raised banquette. Woodsy sketches and drawings fill the walls. The menu, of which Daniel Boulud consulted on, is similarly comforting: poutine---fries topped with gravy and cheese curds---and crispy pig’s trotter make for stomach-filling starters on a menu that abounds with hearty dishes, all of which are accompanied by a surprise or two. The tender grilled lamb burger (made with 40 percent beef) comes with crunchy chickpea fries; and the juicy pan-fried monkfish is paired with fennel polenta. The only downside to this gastropub is the beer selection, which is mostly limited to a few popular Canadian, American and British selections.
