Jag's Steak & Seafood Restaurant Review: A next-generation steakhouse in our opinion, this restaurant aims to be comfortable and urbane rather than imposing and clubby. There are fireplaces in each of the six dining rooms, plus fire pits on the patios. Greenery, artwork and other distinctive design elements give each room an inviting air. Dishes range from organic salmon to chicken Marsala to duck with cherry demi-glace. There also are a variety of pastas and a sushi-raw bar. However, we suggest you splurge on one of the Prime steak specialties, particularly the signature porterhouse, flavorful bone-in filet or tender Japanese Kobe beef. A particular favorite is the black truffle filet---a morel-encrusted ten-ounce number topped with a mushroom compound butter, shaved truffles and Madeira-morel reduction, served with wild mushroom risotto and steamed asparagus.
