| This is a great little neighborhood find, particularly if you love breakfast all day long but dread those ubiquitous chains. Jinky's is basically no-frills, but framed cartoon cels featuring everybody from Elmer Fudd to Fred Flintstone give it a touch of whimsy. The oversized breakfasts---such as a Santa Fe scramble with Jody Maroni's turkey-chicken chorizo, green onions, tomato and tortilla strips, all scrambled with eggs, topped with melted cheese and served with salsa fresca and pea guacamole---are big draws. But salads like curried chicken are equally huge, and a rotating selection of the 29 varieties of chili from Chili My Soul are offered, too. |
