| When you’re looking for fast seafood, Joe’s Crab Shack is the place to cast your net. Its waterfront location gives the impression of a seaside hangout, even though it's anchored in a landlocked state. The kids will like the sandy playground, the spacious, covered outdoor patio and the vending machine that dispenses pellets favorable to the waterfowl and fish in the adjacent pond. After the dinner crowd enjoys 101 ways to eat crab, the patrons become more attracted to Joe’s bar, where a swimming nightlife ensues. Popular drinks include beach-themed cocktails and ice cold draft beers. The sweet coconut shrimp is butterflied to double its crunchy texture and the crab legs are big, juicy and fun to eat, especially when you can toss your shells into the scrap bucket sunk into each table. Great for a crowd, Joe’s offers several regionally themed “steampots” loaded with corn on the cob, potatoes, and various crustacean delights. For those who crave something other than seafood, Joe's offers several "turf" options like burgers and a grilled chicken Cobb salad---but crab is "king" at this establishment. |
