Joe's Noodle House Restaurant Review

: No, there's apparently no Joe. But yes, there are plenty of noodles in just about every size, shape and texture. And the fare is basically Szechuanese, authentically so, with hot here ranging from hot and spicy designated with one chili to numbing signaled with a star. On weekends, small samplings of Northern, or perhaps, Szechuan-style dim sum are offered at bargain rates, so you can enjoy jumbo fried noodles, sweet soy bean milk, fried fermented tofu, chive pockets, and steamed rabbit with hot peppercorn powder (this merits both a chili and a star, so how hot does that make it?), to name just several. Even the remainder of the menu is composed of low-cost fare. Patrons place their order at the front counter, giving them a chance to check out the posted daily specials, and someone from the kitchen carries the dishes out when ready. You can go back and keep ordering more, but portions are more than ample.
