Joey K's Restaurant Review: For some New Orleanians, Joey K’s evokes the days when many a corner was occupied by the same kind of low-priced, family-style restaurant. There’s nothing exotic on the menu: chicken-fried steak, spaghetti and meatballs, jambalaya and a fried soft-shell crab dinner. All-you-can-eat catfish is available every night for $13.95, and for dessert, the blackberry cobbler à la mode is legendary in these parts. The wine list consists of ten selections. Service is friendly and efficient. |
