John & Peter's Restaurant Review: John & Peter’s is a New Hope institution and proud of it. This live music and food establishment has cave-like bar and seating areas that would keep Jack Kerouac content. On any given night, a band might be belting out Allman Brothers tunes or playing mellow jazz or blues, so have a beer at the bar, or sit at a small table, and order something like wings from mild to macho, chipotle chile, Buffalo shrimp, sweet potato fries and the like. Burgers and grilled tuna sandwiches and a kids’ menu are also available. Winter hours are abbreviated, so call before you go. |
