Jonathan's Restaurant Restaurant Review: Jonathan's menu blends American and French cooking. A renovated tapas bar and lounge offers 30 wines by the glass and several cocktails to enjoy while waiting for a table; amicable and knowledgeable staff will assist in selecting wine to complement your meal. The restaurant’s namesake salad is loaded with mixed bitter greens, walnuts and blue cheese; appetizers take advantage of local seafood like mussels with white wine sauce, crab meat cocktail or char-grilled octopus and calamari salad. Dinner selections are divided into categories from pastas and paellas to meats and vegetarian. Meat lovers will go for the 14-ounce steak au poivre, flamed with a brandy demi-glace, or even one of the house burgers. A gluten-free menu is available; of note is the roasted vegetable paella.
