Jonathan's Restaurant Restaurant Review: Jonathan's menu blends American and European cuisines with a variety of influences. A renovated tapas bar and lounge offers 30 wines by the glass and several cocktails to enjoy while waiting for a table; amicable and knowledgeable staff will assist in selecting wine to complement your meal. The restaurant’s namesake salad is loaded with mixed bitter greens, walnuts and blue cheese. Other appetizers take advantage of local seafood, like mussels with white wine sauce, shrimp spring rolls or charred octopus and calamari salad. Dinner selections feature meal salads like the plantain-crusted-shrimp salad, pastas, and paellas like linguine with clams, and meats, fish and assorted burgers. Meat lovers will go for the 14-ounce steak au poivre, flamed with a brandy demi-glace. A gluten-free menu is available; try the roasted vegetable paella. Desserts include a chocolate ganache cake.
