THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Journeys Restaurant Review

: The name sets the tone for this charming restaurant---choose your own little getaway as you peruse the thoughtful menu. Amiable owners Geraldine and Bram Fowler traveled the world and landed here to share their ideas for the bests of the best. The comfortable dining room feels casual yet sophisticated, with saffron-colored walls and black-and-white photos of world landmarks. The chefs combine seasonal creations and longtime favorites. Lunch can be light with an organic chicken breast salad, but for decadence, ask for the grilled Kobe burger with tomatoes, grilled onions, field greens, Dijon mustard and buttermilk blue cheese. The dinner menu is a lovely fusion of cooking styles from around the world. Start with homemade hummus with pita flatbread. Entrées may include South African-inspired peri peri prawns with basmati rice and white-wine reduction, or rack of lamb with a Parmesan and snow pea risotto, mint and goat cheese demi-glace. A solid wine list offers interesting choices to match the cuisine.
