Juan's Flying Burrito Restaurant Review

: Juan’s Flying Burrito is Louisiana’s version of what a Mexican restaurant should be. If it’s too noisy for you at the outpost on Magazine Street, then this toned-down Carrollton Avenue location may be more suitable. The menu includes two-meal burritos made with jerk chicken, pulled pork or grilled vegetables; fish tacos composed of crunchy blue corn tortillas and mahi mahi; and platters of nachos piled with toppings. And the Creole part? Try the Juana roll, a Mexi-roll with grilled Creole chicken, cream cheese, sliced avocado, and jack and cheddar cheeses. It’s safe to say the quesadillas are among the best in New Orleans. Don’t expect too much for dessert; if you’re lucky, there may be a plate of cupcakes or some oversize cookies available. This is also the place to go for industrial strength margaritas. Also located at 2018 Magazine St., Garden District, 504-569-0000.
