THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jump Cafe & Bar Restaurant Review: At almost any time, you will find the lure of Over-the-Rhine, the never-abandoned old neighborhood just north of downtown, to be exciting. Even more so now that many enterprising people have decided to open restaurants, bars and cabarets in the area, making it a magnet for hip people of all ages. Jump Café & Bar is the ultimate in chic, with its open winding staircase leading to the main dining room on the second floor overlooking the always active tapas and wine bar below. The dining room (open Fridays and Saturdays for dinner; every other night for private parties) is very cool and comfortable. Tables are spread nicely and paired with comfortable European-style leather chairs while the food arrives on the latest trendy platters. Chef Allen Stickell has the kitchen under firm control, and he produces eye-popping versions of contemporary food that will delight. The wine list is quite good, and you will be able to find any number of excellent American bottles, as well as alternatives from other countries.
