Kai's Bistro & Lounge Restaurant Review: Kai's casual atmosphere is achieved via low-key décor and wine-colored walls. Happy hour, frequented by UW students, is improved by the surprisingly good food. Recommended dinner options include chicken pot stickers, chili-spiced tiger prawns, and Manila steamer clams in a heady lemon grass-ginger broth flecked with garlic and tomato. Portions are generous, whether you order the juicy grilled burger or a Greek salad with feta, dressed with a red wine-oregano vinaigrette. No room for dessert? That’s fine as there’s no dessert menu. |
