Kale Me Crazy, Atlanta, GA

Kale Me Crazy Restaurant Review

: Roi Shlomo, the founder of Yogli Mogli, a chain of frozen yogurt emporia, established this juice bar to appeal to the health-conscious. But even occasional imbibing is uplifting. Juices are made to order from all-organic, locally grown produce. Every version we tasted was a winner, from the "Fire Fighter" blending carrot, apple, ginger, cayenne and celery, to "Kale Yeah!" with its cucumber/lemon freshness and "Beat Up" blending ginger and beets. Smoothies are made from almond or coconut milks, and if you come in for breakfast, an acai bowl with coconut granola and coconut milk makes a good choice. There also are wraps in vegetarian and meat (such as tuna or turkey) versions. Also located at 358 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, 404-330-8502.
