Kansas City Barbeque Restaurant Review: An upgraded kitchen and smoker mean tasty brisket, pulled pork, St. Louis ribs and burnt end favorites. The usual suspects come as sides like corn on the cob, rings, fries, beans, potato salad and slaw. Another claim to fame: the sleazy bar scene in “Top Gun” was filmed here. Since losing precious memorabilia in a fire, people from around the globe have sent in items such as license plates, funny signs, military hats and more to comprise the décor. We like going in a big group and sharing the platters and family-style meals for finger-lickin' good eats. |
