Kasbah Restaurant Review: Kasbah is a visual delight with its luxurious tapestries, bejeweled pillows and glowing amber lights. Semi-private alcoves set off with archways encourage conversation, and are well suited for either a romantic dinner or fun night out with friends. The menu features cuisine from across the Middle East, and specializes in dishes made for sharing. Small plates include dates stuffed with blue cheese and chorizo and chi chi al fuego --- cheese fried in lemony batter and flambéed tableside. Larger plates include lamb, chicken and beef kabobs, beef or lamb tagines, and a grass-fed Wagyu beef burger with manchego cheese. Wash it all down with a Middle Eastern anise spirit, Lebanese wine or Armenian beer, or take a puff on a hookah on the outdoor patio.
