THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Kensington Arms British Pub & Restaurant Restaurant Review

: For those looking for a traditional British pub with standard American fare offered, here’s your spot. There aren’t many places where the menu boldly announces mushy peas or Heinz baked beans. Still, besides a wide variety of sandwiches and salads for American tastes, there are some very welcome British pub offerings like the inevitable fish and chips (with fried Icelandic cod), Cornish pastry and cottage pie (ground beef braised in gravy and topped with mashed potato and melted cheese). There is also a marinated honey mustard pork entrĂ©e feature two boneless center-cut pork chops served with honey mustard sauce. Even more special is the Kensington Neptune Pie featuring cod, grouper and crab in a creamy white sauce topped with mashed potatoes and melted cheese. Breakfast-goers can choose from a creative Fully Monty British breakfast or a huge portobello mushroom Benedict. One bit of entertainment popular here is the Wednesday night trivia contest---40 questions, fresh weekly, for everyone’s tastes.
