| Kihachi offers a real deal, traditional Japanese fine dining experience in a simple and small (about 40 seats) setting. Written in Japanese, the special menu is graciously translated by servers. Appetizers change daily, depending on fresh ingredients found by chef-owner Ryuji “Mike” Kimura. We recommend the mackerel sashimi, tuna rolls, sea veggie tempura, bluefin tuna and eel in vinegar sauce. Steamed duck with saké, grilled pork cheek, duck udon, shiitake mushrooms with shrimp and grilled matsutake mushrooms are favorites. For a real treat, order an omakase dinner. |
