Klingler's European Bakery & Cafe Restaurant Review: Klingler's launched its business by delivering sumptuous cheesecakes and pastries to other restaurants. This bakery and café is a favorite for breakfast, when you may choose sweet or savory options, such as Nutella blintzes with bananas or a smoked sausage wrap in puff pastry. The farmer's breakfast (Saturday and Sunday only) is a hearty plate of eggs topped with German smoked sausage, onions, tomatoes, peppers, pan-fried potatoes and two kinds of cheese. For lunch, a bratwurst or knockwurst comes with German potato salad and freshly baked bread. We also suggest the salad sampler with pecan chicken salad, tuna salad and homemade pimento cheese. The Black Forest cake is a signature, but we think any of the chocolate and peanut butter pastries will make you forget all about that candy in the orange package. No alcohol is served. |
