Named after chef Ken Oringer of Toro, Uni and La Verdad fame, KO Prime delivers succulent steaks prepared by the kitchen’s executive chef Josh Buehler. Located on the second floor of Nine Zero Hotel, the main dining room is beautifully decorated with plush booths in an intimate environment. While steaks are certainly the focus of the menu, there is a nice selection of seafood, such as pan-seared jumbo scallops. What makes this restaurant truly shine, though, is its uniquely funky creations like the ridiculously good bone marrow with citrus parsley salad and beef tongue “marmalade.” If you are feeling less adventurous, check out the chef’s daily assortment of charcuterie. There seems to be something going on here every night of the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, guests line up for the all-you-can-eat prime rib. On Thursdays, better known as "Nose to Tail Thursdays," the chef offers seven to ten small plates created from a locally raised pig.
