| Small and unpretentious, Konami takes the middle road with its pleasantly Asian décor and stylish lunch box specials. So pretty they're worth the trip in, these offerings differ in composition from chicken teriyaki, ebi shumai, and a California roll in one box to beef curry, a California roll, tekka maki, and tempura udon in another---nine different lunch box choices in all. But should you seek heartier fare, such as plates of sushi and sashimi to start before a bowl of noodle soup or a breaded pork chop, you have that choice. Dinners mean more options, including two chirashi selections. As always, you can finish up with a simple dessert of green tea ice cream or mango sherbet. |
