THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kosmos Restaurant Review

: Kosmos has a metropolitan-wide reputation for very fine dining in a unique ambience, most notably due to a patio whose natural fencing allows a tranquility that is rarely disturbed. The menu roams the culinary planet, with choices reflecting flavors as diverse as those of Southeast Asia and Jamaica. Order the pork chop pink, and that's how it comes, juicy and tender, and bursting with flavor. Fish is fresh and flavorful, but not very imaginatively prepared in our view. The duck is top drawer---crisp and juicy. Accompaniments give the menu an eclectic lift, as they reach to influences from Asia to the Middle East and the Caribbean. The wine list is adventurous if not particularly deep, and offers many fine choices by the glass. Dinner in the lovely patio with just the right musical touch from a talented duo is a most romantic experience. Upstairs is mostly bar service.
