Krieger's Restaurant Review: The upside of bringing the kids to a sports bar is that the flat-screen TVs are as captivating to the youngsters as to the adults, especially when the Cardinals are playing. This Krieger's in Chesterfield, once your average sports bar, has added highchairs and a menu for kids, facts that lend catch-all appeal. But adventurous children will go for finger-friendly appetizers, especially the boneless chicken wings, buffalo wing-style calamari and pretzel sticks. Kids and their taller counterparts also will dig the chocolate explosion dessert, served with a sparkler on top. Fans of Provel and cheddar on St. Louis-style pizzas will be gratified to see them in various topping combinations. The beer list is very basic, so unless you’re thirsty for a Bud, consider a cocktail. |
